I was given free tickets to experience the ride to review in partnership with the US Family Guide.
I was recently in New York City and I wanted to have a chance to take a tour. I have never been to NYC and was very excited for the opportunity to tour the city with "The Ride". When I was offered the opportunity to review this unique experience I looked up The Ride to see what it was all about. I was surprised to see that it is not your typical bus tour. Below I will share with you some pictures and my experience. I will say that I loved this tour, and that this review is very easy for me to write because of how much I enjoyed it.

It was a very cold day, and I was ready for my tour. We decided to take the 7:00 p.m. tour to see NYC lit up.
Here is our bus! You can see that that the side facing us does not have any windows. There are no windows because everyone on the bus sits sideways like bleacher seats facing the drivers side of the bus. The left side of the bus is all glass windows that you can see out of and others can see in. I want to mention, this tour is family friendly, they had a few groups for birthdays, couples, and a bachlorette party on our tour. The seating is also very comfortable, we did not feel to crowded what-so-ever.
We got in line, and in no time we were allowed onto The Ride. We sat next to Scott who was 1 of the 2 hosts on-board. Scott was extremely friendly, and he always had a smile on his face. As everyone was being seated our two hosts kept up a fun banter, and talked with the guests. They made everyone feel special in our own way with the care they took. Our first stop was Time Square, where they had an actor waiting. Each stop The Ride makes, has some sort of scene played out with it. There may be actors at the stop, or even everyday people walking by. The bus is equipped with speakers that can be hear from the inside and outside. They also have a microphone set up on the outside to hear what people are saying.
I don't want to spoil the fun for you by showing all they did during our tour, but I can say, I went back with my sister because I enjoyed the tour so much. They had plenty of stops and I learned a little more about New York City. They had funny jokes, interacted well with our tour group, and made the experience unforgettable. I really do recommend you check it out for yourself, and the next time you are in NYC take a tour with The Ride.
