Children for years have been fascinated with LEGO bricks and now through Bricks 4 Kidz, your child will be able to learn while they play. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we are focused on introducing children to principles of STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics plus Architecture. Bricks 4 Kidz was developed as a hands-on enrichment class where students build and design simple machines, famous landmarks, catapults, and robots using LEGO Bricks. Building takes place after students have participated in a STEM based curriculum about the model of the day. Many kids already know how to build with LEGO Bricks, but with a little coaching they can learn engineering, architecture and concepts of physics and mathematics using the plastic components. One of our main goals is for children to play and socialize with friends while learning concepts based around science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a non-competitive setting. Our programs provide an exciting atmosphere for the students to build using LEGO bricks, models created by Bricks 4 Kidz, experiment their own innovations, play games, and has loads of fun. The activities are designed to trigger young children's lively imaginations and build their self-confidence. Children work with exciting themes such as simple machines, outer space, amusement parks, transportation, energy sources, and many more... We also offer in-school field trips, workshops and classes for ages 3-13, starting from motorized Lego model build to Jr.Robotics to Advanced Robotics using Lego Mindstorm! Contact us if you are interested! Please visit our website for more information about our programs and current sessions. (less) ... Read more
